I’ve lived the kind of pain people don’t post about. The kind of nights that chew up your soul and leave you on the edge. It started when I lost my job—retrenched from civil engineering. I was told I was “overqualified.” Translation: white, male, over 35. System closed. I was shattered. Everything I’d built, everything I thought I was—it all collapsed. I tried to end my life. I didn’t succeed. And I’m grateful for that failure every single day. Because that was the beginning of my rebirth — the moment when how GRABLIFE started began to take shape inside me.
Then came the next hit—an armed robbery. I took a serious blow to the head. Doctors told me I’d never live a normal life again. “No stress. No pressure. No physical exertion. You’ll have to live inside.” I said no. Not in rebellion—but in decision. I spent 18 months rewiring my mindset, doing inner work, and breaking every limit they placed on me. The pain didn’t disappear—but I did something more powerful.
I transformed it. That’s how GRABLIFE started — not with strategy decks, but with deep survival. And just when I thought I had some footing, life cut again. My wife passed away. I kept it together for two months. Then I spiraled. I lost my house. I lost my businesses. I lost my direction. I ended up sleeping on the floor of my son’s living room. Ashamed. Empty.
But I drew a line.
Not to get revenge on life—but to rise for myself. I chose to rebuild. Not for applause. For sovereignty. And this — this moment on that floor — is truly how GRABLIFE started.
